wow, been awhile, huh? what can i say in this update?

ive been working at a veterinary hospital since august. which means, yes, i quit the daycare. bet no one saw that coming. or did i already announce this on here? oh well, either way. new job, more money, woo hoo.

also, looks like in spring of next year, ill have my own dog. which, if you know me at all, you'll know ive wanted one, oh, FOREVER. i'll have a purebred labrador retriever from one of the techs at my work who breeds them. $1000 dog for free? yup, sign me up please, kthx. so thats exciting.

my birthday is coming up, looking forward to that. me and kelly and sam and sheila are gonna create havoc for a weekend, so im excited about THAT.

i dunno what else to say. hope everyone's doing well!

ok, lets rip apart the claikens new album, shall we?

could he have possibly picked worse songs? i mean, i heard "without you" on the radio and i was like "ok, this is going to be amazing!"

then look at the complete SHIT he picks. "broken wings"???? "WHEN I SEE YOU SMILE"?!?! are we fucking serious? those are two of the worst songs ever written, period. pure 80's cheese, added with cheesy new melodies and cheesy singing..ew.

"sorry seems to be the hardest word" is GORGEOUS. and even though that dumb bitch ruins my whole song, "i wanna know what love is" is still kinda pretty. but everything else sucks. big time. but whatever, i guess.

i've had possibly the worst time of my life since saturdday.

on saturday, i dyed my hair a light brownish color, and sheila put in some highlights for me. the blonde was gorgeous, but the problem was all of my hair turned blonde. and trust me..i dont look good as a blonde. so i was really bummed out, although the color was so pretty.

monday i dye my hair a light brown color, and my mom does the same highlights. she makes me take them out early, and my hair comes out looking just plain brown. i hated it, although everyone else loved it.

tuesday. come home and dye my hair a dark mahogany brown..but cos my hair was so light at the time, it just came out almost jet black, with some brownish tone to it. i immediately burst into tears, ran to walmart, and got myself a lighter brown.

which, if you can figure, didnt stay in my hair. cos of all the previous dye. i did all this, btw, to save myself money from getting highlights at a salon. obviously, that didnt work out. ive spent a shitload.

so i come home today and dye my hair blonde, figuring at the most, itll make it atleast a shade lighter than almost black.

same fucking color. ive literally been crying for atleast 3 days. ive never felt as shitty about myself as i do right now, for just so many reasons. i cant believe ive completely fucked up the one nice looking thing about me. i look like a goddamn idiot.

off to atleast fix it with highlights. since im a fucking moron.

p.s. if tay-tay doesnt win tonight, im just officially going to kill myself.

there are some people on my friends list who i think might be interested in seeing pretty much the end result of this whole "gay clay" controversy. k, maybe like, 1 1/2 people.

this pretty much confirms everything. annnddd..im completely ok with it. i think malpractice said it best, if it had happened like, right after idol, id have been devastated cos he was so high up in my book. not cos of the gay thing, but just upset for him. but we have distance now, i still love him, but its ok. just hope he lives.

1. My username is somais_what. it's from a song from the strokes, called "soma", and it's the first line. i just remember the first time i saw the strokes, in boston with my cousin. they opened with soma, and it was just an amazing moment, and made me love the song that much more.

loves it ALL. the play = wicked corny, but sweet at points. and i love that boy, so that was good. i think this is the worst he's ever sounded live, but it's ok. i'll get over it..and there's always next year. :)
